A Beatnik's Question

The innermost deepest feelings dictated to masses
What to do when you are on the edge of a cliff?
A wallpaper of lies covering the wall of truth
What to do when you are bleeding to death?
Nowhere to hide from the darkness of pain
What do do when you die in vain?

A pleasurable notion of reading Huxley's work
Walking through the doors the law has locked
It escapes me as I burn in flames of aging
What to do when you cannot stop life?
